The governor made his comments on Monday, January 29, at the 9th General Assembly of the National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria, taking place in Port-Harcourt, the Rivers state capital.

That is why we will always partner with our traditional rulers as we have been doing.” In response, the Ooni of Ife, who is also co-chairman of the council, thanked the governor for hosting the monarchs. He commended the governor for his commitment to the completion of the ultra-modern traditional rulers complex within six months.
